Ways to Work with Your Protection Jar
Working With Your Protection Jar
Your Protection Jar is a small, meaningful addition to your spiritual practice—a reminder of the peace, protection, and boundaries you wish to welcome into your space.
Each jar from Forget Me Not Reiki & Apothecary LLC is energetically charged with care. Make it your own through intention, quiet reflection, and placement that feels right to you.
Connect With Your Jar
Find a quiet moment to hold your jar or rest your hand gently on it. Take a few slow breaths and allow yourself to settle.
You may wish to meditate with it for a few minutes. Consider how you want your space to feel: peaceful, grounded, welcoming, or restful. Picture that feeling surrounding you and filling your space.
There is no need to force a particular sensation. Simply being present and setting your intention is enough.
Speak Your Intention
With your hand resting on the jar, speak a protection blessing aloud or silently. Choose whichever version feels natural to you.

You can also use your own words. What matters is that they reflect your intention.
Choose Its Place
Place your jar on your altar or wherever you feel most drawn to keep it. Some ideas include:
Beside your bed: Pair it with an intention for peaceful rest.
Near your entryway: Let it remind you of the boundaries you wish to hold in your home.
In your meditation space: Keep it nearby during moments of grounding and reflection.
On your desk: Use it as a reminder to pause, breathe, and return to yourself.
In a room that needs extra attention: Choose the space where you most want to invite peace.
You may leave it in one place or move it as your needs change.
Refresh Your Intention
Whenever you feel called, return to your jar. Rest your hand on it, take a few breaths, and repeat your blessing or set a new intention.
You may also charge it with the full moon. Place it on a windowsill or in a sheltered, dry location overnight. You do not need to see the moon directly to make this a meaningful ritual.
There is no required schedule. Let this practice support you without becoming another task on your list.
Optional: Create a Room Grid
If you feel called to work with several jars, you can place one in each corner of a room to create an intentional grid.
Begin in one corner and move around the room, repeating your blessing at each jar. Imagine the corners connected, surrounding the space with your intention for peace and protection.
One jar is enough for the simple practice described above. A grid is an optional way to expand your ritual.
Caring for Your Jar
Keep your jar sealed to preserve its contents. Store it upright in a dry place, away from curious pets and little hands. The contents are for ritual use and are not intended to be consumed.
Let your jar complement the everyday ways you care for yourself, your boundaries, and your home.
A quiet intention. A meaningful place. A little everyday magick.
